F-GSPI (cn 29008/258) This Air France jet is one dirty bird. Time for a shower, I'd say.

Very nice shot, I like the Air France livery when it has dirt on it. It adds a lot of character to the plane, regardless of how crazy that sounds.

I think it looks like a 767 because of the viewpoint.

Typical AF aircraft.... always being dirty

I can't say that I have ever seen a clean AF airplane and I have been in the industry for 15 years!

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 28, 2006:
I know it's a 777, but it just seems to only have the length of a 767. Weird?

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Come on guys, we all know how Air France takes care of their aircraft! What is the name of the dirty kid from Peanuts? Well thats a A/F aircraft at the gate, compared to other airlines!

A visitor from Australia posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Well is that an original pan am 727? and why havnt they upgraded to somthing slightly more modern yet?

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 26, 2006:
Whoa, she is dirty! Reminds me almost of the space shuttle... but this 777 wasn't re-entering Earth's atmosphere at scorching temperatures! Come on AF, keep these beauties clean!

A visitor from Philippines posted Sun June 25, 2006:
I'd rather take an A330 that's clean than a dirty B777. Put that bird ubder the washing machine. AirFrance is making money but it doesn't show on how they took care of their aircraft. Shame on you French carrier. Les

But is this Pan Am the same company as the old known pan am?

A visitor from Spain posted Sat June 24, 2006:
Nice pic. Yes is a Pan Am 727. They're flying from Atlanta to Orlando, San Juan, Sandfor, Tunica... The airline is: PAN AM Clipper Connection and their website is: http://www.flypanam.com/. Strange but real, pan am is flying.

A visitor from France posted Sat June 24, 2006:
Even the old pan am 727 is cleaner!!!what a shame for air france!!!

A visitor from France posted Sat June 24, 2006:
What a shame!!!even if i'm french i can't stand the way air france keep their aircrafts so dirty!!!it shows so many bad things of the only french airline...i can't say i'm proud...it's so sad to see this pic and many others on a.net...

Is that a Pan Am 727 i see over yonder?!?
Didn't they go out of business almost 30 years ago? :-O

Really great shot!
When you have a big white bird like that, dirt shows up real easily ;)

A visitor from Australia posted Sat June 24, 2006:
Is it just me or do i see a pan am 727 in the background?

A visitor from Poland posted Sat June 24, 2006:
