Aviation Photo #1088333 Lockheed L-1049G/02 Super Constellation - Air France

[ Medium Large ]
9 of 60
Taken with a 35mm camera with no telefoto lens in those days, so rather grainy result. Note the open passenger door, the forward crew door would also be open as aircraft were not fitted with air conditioning, or if they were it couldn't be used on the ground. It was quite normal to see the Super Connies taxy around airports with these two doors open. Converted from L-1049C to 1049E, later to 1049G.
