VT-IWA (cn 353) On board AI 348 to DEL & PVG. This early morning flight from BOM was absolutely full as you can see in the picture. Air India's A330s (leased from Novair) are in a dense seating configuration. The toilets too are below the deck. We are currently cruising at 39000 ft over Central India. Note the drop down TV screens showing the popular Bollywood movie - "Love Aaj Kal"

Good picture, but definitely doesn't make me want to fly on one of those planes. Looks cheap and old.

Good

That's right, LH has it on the 346 if I'm correct...

Extraordinary! I really have never known anything about any toilets installed on the lower deck, thanks for documenting it! I like the perspective you chose which gives you a good impression of how long this cabin is and how many people can fit, somehow reminds me of the L1011...

Very good photo of that AI A330 cabin shot! I do agree that the seats look awfully cheap. Thomas Cook also has below-deck toilets on its A330s.

A visitor from United States posted Mon October 11, 2010:
Yes, the toilets are below the deck like Lufthansa. Its actually very nice, there is more space for lines and there aren't crappy seats next to the bathrooms. Wow, only one TV in the middle - not even TVs for the window sections. It's lucky this isn't that long of a flight.

A visitor from Venezuela posted Mon October 11, 2010:
The picture quality is very good. However, the seats furniture really looks very cheap as a visitor from the USA posted before.
To the visitor from Spain posting: Toilets under the deck? What other airlines have this configuration on their aircraft? Lufthansa

I'd love to check out a below deck toilet!
