VT-AIM (cn 25074/862) Have you heard the old saying "Suffering For Your Art"? Well I did just that. While running to get this shot I hit my little toe really hard on the walkway curb in the lower left hand corner of this shot. ( I was wearing flip flops at the time, feet exposed) A huge wave of pain gripped me, nevertheless I made it over in time to get this palm tree framed shot. The next day the whole toe was black and blue and stayed that way for some time. Yes, a shot I will never forget!

The irony of that shot...Air India flying over a place that serves up food made their most sacred animal: the cow. I bet most of the passengers were very upset.

All jokes aside: Great shot! Sorry about the toe (hope after 5 years its all healed up.

I have no "beef" with In-N-Out (proud Omnivore since 1982! Well, at least when I got my first set of teeth), I just found the picture hilarious. In-N-Out is my favorite burger place.

"With every pain, count it all joy." Sorry about the banged toe, and I hoping it got better. Here a healing statement - this shot is awesome!! I love it - so clean, so well definated, and the palm trees does add the naturally artistic feel to it. And Air India has never looked so good! :)

Great photo in the LA sunshine. Cheers

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu March 16, 2006:
Nicely framed shot. Well worth the pain! I like the way the palm tree left and the building right draw the eye up towards the 747. Plus the pleasing visiual aspect of the hamburger sign almost matching the tail of the aircraft. Nice splashes of colour too. I don't normally eat hamburgers, but I coulod be persuaded to have one in that car park when those beauties fly in!

A visitor from Norway posted Thu March 16, 2006:
