Great photo... Great lighting effect... Great plane.
Air NZ named their 747's … NZ city names (i.e. Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, etc.) So the "decal below the cockpit window" is a photo for a landmark from a city and the name of the city

Awesome photo, very dynamic with the lighting on the tail. ZK-NBU is named "Rotorua". It has a graphic of a NZ native Maori woman in tribal dance. The graphic is below the cockpit windows/star alliance logo.
