Remark Photographer
G-WOWD (cn 286) Caught by a stiff crosswind on landing on runway 06R as WOW302 from Plymouth on an early and very gloomy Mancunian morning. This aircraft lost an inboard MLG wheel on the starboard side after taking off from Newquay Airport on 13th December 2006 while heading for London Gatwick carrying 30 passengers. The aircraft made a successful emergency landing in Newquay. The local newspaper, Cornish Guardian used this photo to cover the investigation hearing on 18th July 2007 (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG)
