Blasting down runway 23L for take off as TS321 to Vancouver. This is the aircraft involved in the famous fuel starvation incident, flight TS236 from Toronto to Lisbon, Portugal on 24th August 2001 when a fuel leak over the Atlantic caused the aircraft to run out of fuel. Captain Piche and F/O DeJager managed to glide the aircraft for 20 minutes after both engines failed, diverted to the Azores and setting the record for the longest glide of a commercial aircraft (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG)
