Delivered new to NASA Commuter Airlines (N4714) November 1967 but immediately re-sold due to delays in Houston's new Intercontinental Airport. Golden West bought and registered the Twin Otter N242GW. Back to Canada as CF-AKM for Time Air in 1970, Air West bought it January 1977. The aircraft suffered damage in a training accident and was withdrawn in September 1987. As with many DHC products, it was rebuilt and carried on with several operators. It’s still current as C-FASQ at the time of uploading.
