The livery of AirAsia India's 4th aircraft is dedicated to the Father of Indian Aviation - Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata. As a mark of respect to the Pioneer of Civil Aviation in India, the aircraft has been christened 'The Pioneer'. The nose section dons an image of JRD Tata with a Puss Moth, the aircraft he flew on Oct 15, 1932, from Drigh Road airstrip in Karachi to Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai via Ahmedabad, leading to the birth of Tata Airlines and starting civil aviation in the subcontinent.
