Nice capture, and wow, what a rotation! Just to clear up any doubt, this aircraft WAS new at the time of the picture, it's first flight was on 11 Jan 2007 just a couple of months before this picture was taken. I too didn't realise A300 were still being built so late!

Not sure what that is, new planes are before that green color so maybe they painted it silver or green as a primer?

To the Colombian pal: I don't think Airbus is still producing the A300... This one is probably at the factory for some kind of special maintenance work or verification... Take a look at the fuselage: those green spots on the metal are a sign of the age of the airplane... Are corrosion spots! Regards! =D

I find it a remarkable achievement for Airbus to still be producing the A300 after all this years (even though it may have just a few months/years ahead. Great picture
