A visitor from Germany posted Sun October 30, 2005: Very well done! I was at Frankfurt Airport this day and it was the most amazing part of may life about my fascination of civil planes! I waited 3 hours and then German Captain Wolfgang Absmeier landed the 4th A380 very softly and just with speedbrakes, not with a reverse, on the North-Runway in Frankfurt! Thanks to the Fraport-Team, which organized this fascinating day! And congratulations and thanks to the German Captain Wolfgang Absmeier for this amazing day which I will never forget in the rest of my life!!!!!!

Thereafter to Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane - the first time the A380 will cross the equator and be seen in the southern hemisphere too.
