A visitor from Australia posted Sun June 25, 2006: Notice the one glaring omission..... NO trim wheel. It's about time !!
The thrust levers (not 'throttles'), are the same as their smaller brethren's, and no reversers on the outboards are, I deduce, for a couple of reasons.... mainly to reduce FOD-related problems at the edge of the runway due to the huge wingspan, and because certifying its awesome landing performance assumes the reversers are INOP anyway. |

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon May 29, 2006: Love the shot. really shows how much technology there is in that bird. There is only 2 reversers as only engines no.2&3 are fitted with reverse thrust. don't know why this is |

A visitor from Mexico posted Wed May 24, 2006: Notice the flap and spoiler sticks on the far right of the picture, the one in the upper part is the flap lever and the one on the bottom is the spoiler one, usual to find those in that place on an airbus flight deck! the qwerty keyboard and mice with scroll wheel are really amazing!!! as well as the very very large LCD displays... and Ughhh!!! who scratched the paint on one corner in the left side of the pedestal??? a big ouch for that! |

A visitor from Chile posted Sat May 20, 2006: I only see the troutle cuadrant, but... where is the flap and spoiler control? |
A visitor from Germany posted Fri May 19, 2006: Astonishing how small theay kept the throttle levers.
Strong resemblence in size to the minor forces required due to electronic signals sent to the servo motors |
