It looks very good from the air because you can see it
Thank you for the info in your comment! Also a stunning picture.
This photo looks so Heavy!!! That I think my screen is going to broke!!!!
He is right about the track, the right one is bigger then the left one, You can confurm this by refaring to a front photo of this aircraft ;).
Clearly one track is larger than the other. It is not just perspective. Check reference points on the wing underside to see a difference. Also clearly different hinge config. on the one side...
Awesome shot! The left-wing inner canoe is indeed bigger due to the RAT. It has nothing to do with the angle of the picture (which would actually rather have the opposite effect, making the left-wing canoe appear smaller...). 'Wonder though about the flaps' long-term resistance to friction with the landing gear doors...
Awsome shot. Look at the little beacon there.. :P
That's just spectacular... Can't get enough of this photo.
Amazing and unique picture and a nice change from the usual ones. This plane is an engineering marvel and this photo illustrates that very well. Just look at all that heavy machinery and now think about this: it *flies*
Actually they are the same size it's just the angle the photo was taken from! How would the gear doors open with flaps 4(Full)
Great shot chap. you even got the comment about the wheel door touching the flaps right but the size diference of the hydraulics is just an optical illussion. sri
Due to budget restrictions, they couldn't afford to equip the right and left wings with the same flap system....... kidding, kidding! It's just a perspective matter. Right after take off, the plane had to do a sharp left turn to stay in the flight pattern restrictions of Le Bourget. This demonstrate even better the maneuverability of this amazing aircraft.
This is not hydraulics under the left wing, the flap track fairing there houses the ram air turbine. Great shot though!
It's just a fantastic shot!
Great photo. The longer inboard canoe fairing under the left wing houses the deployable ram-air turbine (RAT)
Wow the canoes look a lot bigger on the right side of the pic, nice photo
Very good shot! Nice close up detail of the main landing gear of this huge airliner.
Interesting observations you made, young Padawan. I wonder what the reasons for these things are?! Hope somebody can help...
