Fishair, excellent job - especially regarding the poor weather conditions! It's also worth looking at your other pictures!!! Not the common stuff...
Hope to see a lot more very soon!

That is a BIG plane! I know that YVR is expanding their terminals to add two gates for the 380. Is there a schedule online somewhere for flight tests? I'll be waiting at the end of the runway when it gets here!

A visitor from Singapore posted Mon October 31, 2005:
Correction - this A380 will fly direct to Singapore in Nov 2005 - which is next month. This is part of the airport readiness checks.

Very well done!
I was at Frankfurt Airport this day and it was the most amazing part of may life about my fascination of civil planes!
I waited 3 hours and then German Captain Wolfgang Absmeier landed the 4th A380 very softly and just with speedbrakes, not with a reverse, on the North-Runway in Frankfurt!
Thanks to the Fraport-Team, which organized this fascinating day!
And congratulations and thanks to the German Captain Wolfgang Absmeier for this amazing day which I will never forget in the rest of my life!!!!!!

A visitor from France posted Sun October 30, 2005:
Good to see it at the great Frankfurt airport! Might be the place where they will gather in the greatest numbers when in service.

It's a flying Noah's arch!!!

Great picture and when you already saw it for real, you feel how huge it is.
It's the beginning of great pictures from all around the world, everybody will be astonished when looking at it passing by. Japanese people will beat their records of pictures-taking. The most exiting plane today.

A visitor from France posted Sun October 30, 2005:
Yes, it will fly to Canada for extreme temperature tests. It will fit quite right among the 744 in YVR

From FRA, this A380 will undertake its longest haul journey to date - and fly direct to Singapore in Nov 2006. Thereafter to Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane - the first time the A380 will cross the equator and be seen in the southern hemisphere too.

A visitor from Singapore posted Sat October 29, 2005:
Simply awesome! Today FRA, tomorrow the world!!
