All I can say is wow! It truly captures pure power this shot. I would love to be sitting in the cabin at this moment it would beat any rollercoaster! The grass being thrown up adds a great touch also.

I was there! It was awesome... That plane is huge and loudddd! It is so huge I thougt it was going to land on the grass between the spectators and the runway, cos it seemed so close... but it was just the sheer size that made me think it.

Great, unique capture.

But can someone explain what the difference is between the top and bottom halfs of the rudder?
In other photos (i.e. #2018145) you can see that the top half of the rudder moves, while the bottom is fixed. In this picture it's the other way around. What's the difference?
