This is one of the most beautiful photos on airliners.net. It has great composition showing Alaskan aviation. The only minute thing is the glare on the 737 but that is so tiny when compared to the beauty of the shot that it does not pop out. Best thing of all, it was on film, not digital!! No cheating here!!!

I took this photo. I got up on a stepladder and waited for the Alaska jet to come in at the scheduled time. It took several hours of setting up the shot. If you look under the Red DH3 Otter you can see a pair of legs. A pilot friend was on the starboard fiat, I had to shout for him to get out the photo. His vehicle was also parked behind the Otter. I had him move it. He got over to the other side of the floatplane but I still can see his legs. I snapped about ten shots as the Alaska jet landed. After three attempts with different Alaska jets I got this shot. I say it was worth the wait. This shot is unaltered NO digital work. Even the black smoke was a gift. The airport clean up crew burned ome pallets and therefore the black cloud. I don't think I could duplicate that.
