The Vickers Viscount was renowned the World over for the superb views offered to passenger's from it's large panoramic windows.
Images taken from Viscount cabin's whilst in the air are not that rare, but this view by Peter Eyre taken on board G-BDRC on finals to East Midlands is absolutely superb, and so evocative of a bygone era in Air Travel.
What a pity we cannot hear those Dart's in all their glory !
