Yes, Alitalia colors on the A330 dressed like a glove .. by the way, the paint scheme of Alitalia fits very well in almost all planes .. in my opinion is one of the Top 10 in the aviation's world .

Really interesting - although this painting looks weird...

A visitor from - posted Wed May 5, 2010:
Well, A330's *do* make pretty decent gliders, you know.

A visitor from - posted Wed May 5, 2010:
The "Citroen" look good in Alitalia colors more then others!

Awesome new 330's for alitalia

A visitor from Canada posted Wed May 5, 2010:
In a bid to reduce pollution and operational costs Alitalia was thinking of going to gliders but couldn't find powerful enough tow planes so back to the shop this A332 went for engines. Nice catch and yes she does look sweet wearing the colours.

Lovely photo. And the first Alitalia A330 on A.net!

A visitor from United States posted Wed May 5, 2010:
This A332 will be GE Powered as the designations 01/02 state their engine choice.

A visitor from - posted Wed May 5, 2010:
They'll have GE engines.

Ecological flying becomes more and more attractive. You see the first Airbus glider which was made for special updraft conditions.

Wonderful plane!

A visitor from United States posted Wed May 5, 2010:
Long time since I saw Alitalia in the top 5! To answer a previous question: the engines will be GE.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed May 5, 2010:
That's correct. Also notice Lockheed Jetstar left of British Airways Airbus.

New airplanes in europe don't have engines due volcanic ash. can't wait to the new business and premium economy...

A visitor from Russian Federation posted Wed May 5, 2010:
Alitalia colors do look elegant on the 330. And the absence of engines is not the first thing to be noticed here, indeed!
By the way, that small dark gray turboprop in the background looks like An-26, doesn't it? It's rather curious, if so.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed May 5, 2010:
Anyone know what engines they have picked? Great Picture i love factory shots :)

A visitor from Australia posted Wed May 5, 2010:
