This is perhaps the most beautiful livery ever applied to a B747, its like thc classic liners of the '30s.

This is a one PLANE tht i want to fly and the picture is verrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy good

A visitor from France posted Sun October 15, 2006:
A striped paint B747 fuselage saves several hundred pounds of weight that could be use as extra payload. Paint is quite heavy and it is estimated that keeping an extra 2 lbs of paint on a B747 increase operations costs by as much as $1000 / year! No wonder why more and more airlines use "silver bullets" in their cargo fleet. And Boeing is studying how they could save weight the same way on their future Dreamliner engines.

Looks cool, but I prefer them as before. You can barely read the airline in the fuselage. T.B.

A visitor from United States posted Sat October 14, 2006:
I love the all aluminum look. Great shot.

Oh, yuck.
I mean, it's a great picture. But an atrocious livery.
I'd prefer to continue to look down on the bare-metal look as this north-Texas thing.
