A visitor from United States posted Wed October 26, 2011: Boeing flew a 787 to the Oshkosh Air Show in early Aug. It was a hit with the 100,000 plus people there that day. One of the most beautiful aircraft ever made by man. The thing that most impressed me was how quiet it was on landing, taxi, and start-up and takeoff. It whispers around an airport. Can't wait to see the longer variants that Boeing is planning in the future. The 787 will end up being more than worth the wait in delays for the airlines and the flying public. Well done Boeing.
A visitor from United States posted Wed October 26, 2011: A very nice photograph of a milestone in commercial aviation history. I'm not completely enamored of ANA's livery though......little too "busy" on the rear half, and a little too "plain" on the front half. But the 787 is a truly beautiful plane. While it has no bearing on this photo, I'm slightly dubious about the "tricky" cabin windows; I'm afraid they will be a "pain" for taking "window shots"! (Are you listening, Boeing?)
