This picture takes ones thoughts into a world that only a handful of people will ever experience in real life. For me it invites me to take over the engine throttle and pull back the column.

As I am flying on a 747-400 very soon, the clearness of the picture of the cockpit gives me a good idea of the layout.

This cockpit picture is excellent because you can see the detail in the throttle and gadgets. I'm a commercial pilot myself and fly from Los Angeles - Paris almost daily in a boeing 747 - 400. I also fly back almost every other day.

While it may be a good photo, it is too small to see the detail of the cockpit.

Well, I am a pilot myself and this photo really shows what the cockpit of a 747-400 is really like.

Very nice, it's amazing. It's complex and must be hard to fly. Love the plane and love the cockpit!

Very complicated for the novice to get there head around but for all that it is very good to be able to see what the pilot sees the seat's a bit sparton for comfort.
