Remark Photographer
JA01AN (cn 33916/1781) A Brand new ANA B737-700 seen taxiing to runway 08L at HNL sporting a golden livery. It will continue its delivery flight to Japan. Those colors look quite different to say the least, as I am not used to seeing an ANA aircraft in another color other than blue. The weather had a lot to be desired.

I think this a/c will be most likely to get to be an executive charter or something. It looks beautiful

Looks like a retro scheme to me.

Beautifully captured inspite of weather. Bet you thought your eyesight was failing . . . and went ah-HA!

Well captured. I like the gold, but what is with the grey underside? Why do airlines (NZ, LH particularly) go for the grey? I'd rather see dirty white than the boing grey. Imagine if this bird was all white with the gold band joining under the nose. That would be sweet.

Nice to see different colours!

Nice shot.

I agree, I prefer their blue scheme, though gold makes it look ellegant.

Nice aircraft but i rather the blue livery. This one looks very simple.

Nice shot, beautiful aircraft, shame about the brown livery, indeed.

The HNL RareBirds group scores another scoop. Unusual to see ANA in other than blue.

Wow, nice picture. At this angle it sorta looks like a E190 or a E170

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 26, 2005:
Nice shot! Yes, I agree they should've made it a mettalic gold, but it's better than if they made it an ugly olive drab! ;) Great photo!

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 26, 2005:
I love the scenery, the plane tho, the gold is a bit dull. I would have liked to see this plane in a more metallic gold. Would have looked smarter!!

Sharp detail and great angle!

Whether planes are being delivered to their new homes or ferried off to the desert for storage, the Aloha State has been an important stopover for aircraft for many years.
