Looks good to me! very nice! but it seems smaller than the 777
Why do you think the plane is bad, its beautiful!!!!!!!
This plane is sexy as hell
You say "some plastic plane"?? It's the future, man!! Ok, it's not Boeing's best looking a/c, but I think that a photographer shouldn't write these things on his own photo.
Wow, so good I Love ANA | |
Great picture of the 787, 5 stars! i hope we will one day see this bird in NWA colors outside of flight simulator :)
Awesome Pict!!! But It Really Does Look Small!!
What I don't like about the 787 and the A380 is that they both have large foreheads! In my opinion; the 777 is the best looking airplane ever.
Hmmm... Something seems wrong here. Plane is fully painted, but it can't be delivered. Unless it is going to be used for testing, there seems to be a problem with the order of events. To me, usually, tests are done before the pane is painted in the final airline's livery. Oh well. I still like the photo. I just wish ANA did a special livery for this, celebrating the first 787.
I love Boeing planes but, this one, I don't know.
Beautiful looking thing! Can't wait to see these babies in the LOT-Livery. Kudos.
Why is it a plastic plane? Because of the composites it is made of.
Great! | |
Wow, they already got one painted! It looks great.I just want to see this thing fly now.
Excellent! I love the 787!!!
From this angle, the front end of the 787 reminds me of the caravelle. Does anyone see the similarity too? :)
Very nice! She looks really good! But i do think the A350 is better looking but nevertheless, you can't call her ugly! :)
The photo itself is very nice and indeed historic. But I agree with some people here, it's not the most beautifull plane Boeing has ever build. For me it's a way to futuristic model, just as the a350 will be. It's just like an E190/170 which they stretched and added some ugly engines. The Embraer model is very nice because it's so small and it has those 'old styled' winglets, which the 787 is and has definetly not. Altough there is one thing I do like: the tail, it brings some smoothness in the aircraft.
Nice shot, waiting for its first delivery.
The vertical stabilizer looks a little bit small for her.
This is definitely the future and it looks stunning from this angle. When this "plastic plane" will fly and will carry you comfortably over the clouds, then you will actually "feel" the beauty of it!
That's a great shot of a beautiful airplane. It will look even more beautiful when it goes wheels up for the first time. A previous responder says that the 787 "is not a very beautiful aircraft." If he thinks the 787 is not a good looking aircraft, I wonder what he (or she) thinks of the A-380. Now there's an ugly airplane!
Ive been waitin a loooonnnnngggg time for this moment thank you for putting a picture of history i give five stars for this incredible peice of history
They are meaning its a demonstration aircraft.
I cant wait to see different photo angles o n the 787, it seems that it will be the most photogenic airliner. airliner.net photographers prepare your engines (shutters) :-)
Great plane, look at the engines, that is the future!
Imagine you are standing there, that thing powers up and takes flight... if only.
It'll be one of the best captions for B787. I am also very happy on this photo uploaded as a Japanese guy, and who went to Everett factory on a Boeing Tour to see 787 assembly line last year. - Akira from Japan
I know why he is saying "plastic plane"! We should wonder: "Can this thing actually fly?"
This plane inspieres me
What a beauty ! Her lovely "Parts" have come together in the most remarkable way.Congrat's to all at Boeing, long may she fly!
Not a very good looking plane, really..I like the engines though. And yes, it looks like it's 737/320 sized.
The B787 may not be the best looking plane out there, but it sure looks more graceful than the giant flying whale . . . *cough*A380*cough*. ;)
I have to remind myself that the windows are huge on this thing, so using them as a size reference leads one to think the 787 is smaller than it really is! Beautiful plane!
Great shot. Interesting area below the R2 Door and what seems to be behind the Forward Cargo Door. It almost looks like an old fashioned boiler plate patch with a bunch of rivets (of course, probably not on a composite fuselage). Sensor matrix around the Static Ports? Doesn't have the sensor on a line off the vertical stabilizer like other test planes. APU is running and looks like Take Off Flaps. Despite all the drama, hope it flies soon...
After all the marketing.. it looks.... ok... just ok. Most important, can it fly?
I could not believe what my eyes were seeing when I took a glance at the thumbnail. Oh, my God. 787! I mean, it is Boeing's newest plane. It is simply awesome. Great is not enough to describe. Therefore, you got a "STUNNING" picture!
Nice photo but one ugly aeroplane.
A refreshing change from all those 767s, Airbuses, and other old aircraft. If only it would fly . . . Will it ever?
If this beauty could be able to fly::D
Best looking jet from boeing
Beautiful airplane! People can make their jokes, but all will be silenced when the 787 finally flies. Its a game changer for sure.
It looks small because the windows are so big compared to most airliners- It's all perspective
Awesome shot! Hope to see it flying soon.
Wow it look small, but innovative; much more innovative then Citroen !!
At last! the dream is now a reality. plastic planes here they come!
The ANA livery just doesn't go with the 787... :(
She is beautiful. Can't wait to see her at home in the sky.
I hope that more of such plastic planes will be running around airports soon!
Wait till it flies! That wing flex on the ground, or am i totally wrong on the wing flex part, is amazing! How bout up in the air than, will see!
That awesome winglets are gone?
I just realise that the 787 have many sharp parts, its spiky engines, the tip of the wings and tailfin, and not to forget its nose! Does anyone think that one can get cut by those parts? Especially the engines.
Nice livery, but the 787 still looks like a 767.
All press pictures are taken from an angle different than this one, they make the airplane look bigger. But it's kinda small at this angle.
How, this pic makes us feel like it is a regular flight. Perfect
I don't like the front of the 787
The best plane i have ever seen
I liked the Andrew's joke too. It could add another joke: " A very expensive advertisement of All Nippon is running around Paine filed".
It looks nice... REALLY nice indeed.
"Plastic plane"?!?!? Some explanations please?
I like the spiky bits on the back of the engine :)
Simply beautiful! | |
I must say, the 787 is not a very beautiful aircraft
Looks like a small plane here...737/a320 size to me
Love Andrew's comment! :)
Plastic plane, but it does look way better than the competitor! Nice picture.
Great shot and the best yet of the 787. Looks good.
