Finals for runway 26R in the early evening, while an American Airlines, bound for ORD, waits for takeoff clearance. If I'm not mistaken, AQ removed the three flags on the end of the fuselage, meaning this bird is no longer a long range version.

Although not the typical "aircraft only" shot, I sometime like the "busy" sho, especially since the prime A/C is still "framed" well. Key notification to the aircraft being "derated" from long-range is the loss of thr ETOPS labeling on the nosewheel doors; note the reg number there is off center. The arrival of the blended wingtipped 737-700s to Aloha service means that the 737-200 Advanceds are no longer fuel efficient enough for the overseas flights. Still, it is great to see this A/C still flying. btw, I have the 1/400 scale diecast model (from sma) of the N808AL in etops livery and it is a beautiful model!
