N392AN (cn 29429/700) At 2300LT of July 20th 2007 the Amazonic ACC had an electrical collapse due human failure and ALL frequencies got down. The planes couldn“t enter at flight information region and those in flight must land immediately at the first airport available. SBEG received 3 flights on that night: one of TAM en route to MIA and two AA, a Triple Seven to MIA and this 767 to DFW. Both American planes departed only at 0530AM LT. This is my 100th pic at A.net!

I was one of the people affected by this chaos, Guarulhos Airport in Sao Paulo was a madhouse that night. It happened again a few days later. Human error is a polite way of putting incompetence.
