Taken during final from 500 ft above. VASI indicates red over white: We’re alright. Almost 9 miles direct ahead, across part of the bay and at the foothills of San Bruno Mtns, is San Francisco Int'l (SFO) which is evidenced by two huge bldgs: United's Maintenance Facility & the UA/AA Superbay. On the left is h-way 101. Overpasses ahead are the 101 & 92 interchange. 3 similar tall bldgs on the right is Oracle's HQ. Thanks to Al Schneider for the beautiful flight. Photo taken at 1:45PM.
