On what was supposed to be the last day of A300 revenue flights for American, Flight 577 JFK-MIA was to be the last departure from JFK. The flight, operated by N40064, was to be the water cannoned flight however a Delta Flight declared an emergency and the trucks had to leave. However AA Flight 1529 JFK-SDQ had an equipment sub from a 763 to an A300. It was thought that this would be the last revenue departure from JFK, however, there would be more. AA 1529 is seen taxing out for departure to SDQ under the water cannon

Simply Beautiful! Feels good to know the last A300 flight American did was to the Dominican Republic! A Beautiful plane headed to a Beautiful Island.

They should had given the fleet a twenty-one gun salute. At lease, American will put better high-capacity aircraft on the JFK-PAP route with better air condition.
