A visitor from United States posted Sun November 8, 2009: Powerful photo! It is indeed an A300. Never a popular plane with American, especially after the tail detached from AA587. The last Airbus was retired from American's fleet this past summer.

A visitor from United States posted Sun November 8, 2009: Love the condensation in the engines! To reply to the commenter below, this is indeed an Airbus A300-600. American used these mainly for their cargo capacity on intercontinental flights. Regardless, a beautiful plane & a good shot!
