Here she is! American's first 737 with Blended Winglets. Departing from the new Terminal D on its way to MIA. This bird will surely be in the spotlight for days to come as she shows off her new wings!

Thanks for sharing this picture with us Christian. Winglets look really nice on this AA 737, can't wait to see them on their 757's though.

I have never seen an AA 738 with winglets, and it has great lighting and the plane is really shiny! You can even clearly make out the aa.com on the winglet!

Awesome shot, nice winglets! I didn't think that AA would need to test those bad boys to see that they increase fuel efficiency. Once the results come back, hopefully American will install them on all the 738's. The only downside is the cost, which I believe is upwards of $400 000.

What a great photo. The 'puffy' cloud formation in the background looks terrific. The aircraft is well centered (in the photo), clear, great quality and simply looks great. Thank you for sharing it with us.

This type of bird is my favorite, Winglets make it look more sexier. The wife even agrees! Keep up the good Graphs. WOW.
