Aircraft Taken at More: American Airlines More: Boeing 777-223/ER More: Dallas / Fort Worth - International (DFW / KDFW) More: USA - Texas, June 1, 2006 Remark Photographer N768AA / 7CC (cn 33540/566) Presenting AA's newest T7 and delivered to DFW only hours earlier, I had to wait until after dark for the ladder to finally be rolled away and her giant engines fired to life before I could get a shot of her. Here she is caught easing away from the hangar as she is just being put into service. Special thanks to "Tower" Joe Statz for the inside scoop in the previous days to make this image possible.. Even though the incredible engines aren't visible... seeing the orange glow, I can almost feel their heat and vibration. The perspective is brilliant. Starboard; the faint outline of almost every window is visible. Congrats to Mr. Umphrey.
