The new livery is fantastic. Don't see what everyone is whining about. The old livery was outdated and made any aircraft look old. Having said that, even if the old livery was a good livery, American had no choice but to re-brand. Customers associate the old livery with the old American and the old on-board product. A livery change is the most effective way to raise awareness of the new initiatives and new services. They have done well, and I would be willing to fly them now.

Being in a family of American pilots, I have to say... I don't mind the livery. To say it doesn't have style is to not understand the definition of the word. Change is tough, I'm sure people originally hated the idea of flying in planes, but it'll grow on you. If you love AA, you'll learn to love the scheme that represents it.

Looks better on the 77W than anything else. Would've loved to have seen it in polished metal though.

Sorry, can't agree! The old livery wasn't very fancy neither, but it had style, this here livery has the style of kitchen furniture or play mobile toys.
