This is a great picture, although I wish it could have been full view of the CV990. It takes one back to the golden age of the airlines.

The astrojet designation was so cool, the sheer imagination and style of early 60's airline culture is so missed. a dream world past.

Civilian J-79 Turbojets....as used on the F-104 Starfighter....made this baby wicked fast. I wonder if anyone ever barrel-rolled one for grins?
