Amazing Nostalga in this photo. Such a crisp view of long gone era, looks so simple and sedate compared to modern aviation.

I can easily imagine myself seated in the DC-3, looking at what's happening on the ramp.What are the two employees talking about? And where were they two years later... Taking care of USAAF C-47s somewhere over the world?

I have been researching this particular terminal for some time. Very few photos exist - none have I seen in color except for a 1938 American Airlines calendar. Built around 1936 it no longer exists but I find this photo invaluable.
