No HDR - The cockpit is permanently nicely illuminated by small overhead spots (as reflected in the fuel gauges) and fill flash was used to brighten the overhead panel.

Being a pilot was a lot harder and more scary in those days gone by. Can you imagine the workload shooting an ILS to minimums.
