Following a midair collision with Taylorcraft BL-65 NC24403, AA21 crash landed wheels up in a farm field 7 mi NE of Saline. The aircraft was lifted up and the main gears secured. The wings were removed and here you see the aircraft being towed away. Flagship San Antonio was repaired and returned to service and is still registered today as N139D
