Hybrid wears American Trans Air titles & Trans World Airlines colors seen at old Charter Terminal. First flight was June 3, 1972. Delivery date was July 4, 1972. Other serials - N11002 with TWA Trans World Airlines, Five Star, Interface Group - Nevada Inc, & IASCO - Intl Aviation Svcs Co. Wears FN 11002 with TWA & ATA. Sadly, W/O July 30, 1992 with TWA Trans World Airlines at JFK as N11002. Aircraft overran runway on take-off, fuel tanks cracked and aircraft caught fire, & disintegrated. All 292 survived.

Aircraft: N11002 (L10). Route: JFK-SFO. 280 Passengers, 12 Crew Members (10 injuries). Plane crashed on aborted takeoff shortly after liftoff. Plane came to rest, upright and on fire, on grass-covered soil. Despite fire, crew was able to evacuate all.
