G-AAXD (cn 42W/6) This particular aircraft was named "Horatius" and was one of three used on European routes. Another five were used on 'Empire' routes. The aircraft crashed at Tiverton 7 November 1939, and a propeller stills survives.

The overall grainy nature of this photograph is probably why it is so seldom seen... This is the first time I have done. The rarity of it makes up for that grainy nature, at least somewhat.
