Superb look to the runway edge lights !

Knowing how far you probably had to walk around the perimeter to get this shot, and catching it with such clarity in the dim, wintery light, it's an absolute masterpiece. Superb.

Nice blend of light and action. The foreshortening of the runway also gives a pleasing effect.

Very cool shot. The jetblast has an awesome affect on the runway edge lights farther back. Looks like there was a pretty stiff crosswind as well. Superb!

First visit to this site - with shots of this quality I'll be back! Love the tight focus of the huge plane compared the atmospherically lit (and dipping) runway.

The bird itself makes for a spectacular shot, but the way the runway lights and the overall darkish setting adds to the picture is just amazing!

Way to go! Great show in great light.

A visitor from United States posted Fri October 19, 2007:
Very well done. Instead of struggling with the gloomy conditions, it appears that you mastered them and used them to create a nice atmosphere in the picture, with the Mriya gracefully lifting off the lit runway and cutting through the fog right towards you.
