Just look at those Bogeys, half of the gear is airborne and the other half still on Mother Earth. Excellent shot of a magnificent aircraft, well done.

This huge aircraft showed the progresss of Russian aviation after the thawing of the "cold" war and is always an eye-popper as it manouvers around an airfield

I think that the Antonov AN-225 Mriya still is the Undisputed King of the Skies and always will be! WOWWW. That is amazing!!!!!!!

Beautiful Shot, thank you! To the New Zealand poster - The 225 is Ukrainian, not Russian; see the two Ukrainian flags and Ukrainian registration on the aircraft. Also it was built during the cold war. It first flew in December 1988. It was designed to carry the Soviet Buran Orbiter.

To the UK (and New Zealand) poster:
Well, in fact, An-225 is not "Ukrainian" or "Russian" - it's "Soviet" ;)
Registration at present time isn't canceals that it was "Made in USSR".
