When you consider what contra rotating props can achieve with over wing pressures.. its amazing that nobody is interested in advancing the idea of engine tilt technology in this area.

The best Antonov has to offer are all in this picture. Up close, the ultramodern An-70 designed to replace the An-12; just behind it the super massive An-225, the world's largest aircraft operational with unmatched carrying ability; in the rear the An-225's predecessor, the An-124 with 2nd only to An-225 load carrying capability.
