Delivered to United Airlines November 1940 as NC25620 but comandeered by the Air Force in March 1942 and given the serial 42-38326. Returned to United in July 1944 and reverting to the original registration, the aircraft later did a stint with the Ford Motor Company from 1949 to 1967. Arriving in Canada as CF-VQV in 1967 and sold to Arctic Outpost Camps a year later. Withdrawn from use in 1975, the aircraft was stored at Edmonton until moving to Red Deer for storage sometime after 1984.
