On our CRD – FTE flight we encountered a head-wing stronger than expected, so we had to make an unscheduled refuelling stop at this remote location in the middle of the South Patagonian desert. The young captain of the Air Force was very kind and during the flight he explained to me many hints about the Twin Otter and it’s operational procedures.
