 A visitor from United States posted Tue July 15, 2008:Now here is a most classic DC-9 cabin!! These are so much better than the modern ones now. The modern ones look like they were designed by aliens and don't have the best headroom. Plus they have those nasty pipe rails on the bins. These classics have the perfect slant for the overhead doors, making for wider head area in the aisle than you get now, and easier access. This is also visually the best DC-9 cabin architecture there ever was!!! Perfect for jet-set designers. I flew to and from NYC as a kid many times on flights that looked just like this. A lot of memories here. The classic DC-9 cabin design needs to be resurrected!! As well as real food service!! I miss these jetliners big time!! | |
