 A visitor from - posted Wed January 27, 2010:Holding an airplane off on the runway beyond the rotation speed does not improve the obstacle-clearance performance at all. There is nothing to praise the pilots for: this Il-86 is just dangerously heavy for the runway length/environmental factors. | |
