Great shot Pavel. Curious about the vapour trail coming off the Beriev, was it just taking off or had it just done a water drop?

Incredible timing! I love how the Be-200 is still trailing water. It makes it look like its performing, yet the focus is not on it, its on the Tu-154. Great shot!

To previous guy from UK: yes, Beriev has just done the water-drop! Fyodor has just done his beautiful shot, and I has been rescuing my camera from rain of salty water =) And all of these things came together in one great shot! Bravo, Pavel!
p.s. Of course Tupolev-154 is beauty!

Excellent picture. Of course the main focus is the TU-154 taking off, but with its landing gear retracting, the seaplane departing in the backround and the scenic backdrop, you have captured a picture with alot of action and detail. Nice work.

Haha! I had to do a double-take, in the thumbnail it looked like a 727 at Princess Julianna or somewhere Caribbean. Nice action photo!

Five stars for this one! Great shot of the Tu-154 doing a high angle take off, but the thing that REALLY sets this photo into the realm of "awesome" is the Be-200 in the background, going the opposite direction! ( The Be-200 is such a unique aircraft )

Also, having that mountain for a background, rather than the usual drab sky, makes this photo much more interesting. Way to go, Pavel!

Everything beautiful and well captured; send many like this one, it is enjoyable. Have you noticed nose landing gear is retracting backward ? Airbus and Boeing are mostly retracting forward. Is retracting forward to avoid colapsing in case of hard landing since it permits to use mechanical stops?
