A visitor from United States posted Mon April 3, 2006: This aircraft,a player on a world stage. This photo provoked deep though in me. I looked at it for some time. It stayed with me all day and into the night. When I awoke the next day it was one of the first images that flashed through my mind. First off, it's of a "classic" 747. This airplane has seen more of the earth than some of us will ever see. The exposure and the lighting are warm and enveloping. Almost countless little glowing bulbs drawing the eye. The shot also makes me think about an industry that never sleeps. Looking through the windshield at a small sample of all the activity that takes place just to get this graceful giant into the air is almost mind boggling. Think for a moment. The mechanics working on the bird, the fuelers, rampers, caterers, flight crews, loaders, warehouse workers, customers, company office workers, the list goes on and on and on. Thanks Tim. A simple shot of an empty cockpit filled my mind for hours.
