The Telstars Aerobatic Team Leader's Vampire A79-637 overflies the airfield inverted, after the team performed a 'Break' at the end of their 1965 Laverton display. The Team was operated by Central Flying School (CFS) based at RAAF East Sale. The aircraft were painted Silver, with Orange DayGlo on the nose, wingtips and fins. The Team was named after a space Satellite called 'Telstar'. A79-637 was Del: to RAAF in March 1959. I also photographed A79-637 at WOL in 2008. Low res photo. Apologies for quality.
