A4-140 / 140 (cn 140) Side view photo of the RAAF's Second Caribou aircraft, Delivered to 38 Squadron, Richmond, in March 1964. The 44 year old aircraft was arriving at the 2008 Wings Over Illawarra Airshow at WOL. [RAAF Transport Flight Vietnam (RTFV, later 35 Sqn) became the First RAAF Unit deployed to Vietnam on 08Aug1964, and the last to leave in 1972.] A4-140 is a Vietnam Veteran, having served with 35 Squadron in Vietnam from November 1968 to June 1971. This aircraft 'Soldiers On', with 38 Squadron (Townsville), in 2009.
