A97-002 / 02 (cn 382-4782) Photo 3 in a set of 4. Between May 1969 and May 2002, I have flown in C-130As, C-130Es, C-130Hs and a C-130J-30. (Probably a rare combination.) My first flight in a C-130H was in 36 Squadron's A97-006 on 18Aug1980, from RAAF Laverton to Fairbairn. I also flew in A97-002 on 29Aug1986, from RAAF Fairbairn to Laverton. A97-002 is shown at RAAF Fairbairn in 1985. A97-002 did the C-130H demo flights at the Defence Airshow at RAAF Richmond in October 2006. (See MyAviation.net.) |
