A89-301 (cn 426-5022) An RAAF P2V-5 Neptune (formerly numbered A89-592), parked behind the Laverton Parade Ground during the Graduation of a friend's Air Electronics Officer Course on 01 April 1968. (Yes, he Graduated on April Fools Day!). A89-301 was Delivered to the RAAF in Nov 1951. After retirement from 11 Squadron service, all markings were removed from this aircraft, which was being used as an Instructional Aid, before going to the fire dump. Thanks to Frank Alley for identifying this un-marked aircraft. Low res photo.
